The lens is mounted on the camera with a Rainbow Imaging Minolta-to-NEX lens adapter. I just purchased this 40-year-old MINT condition lens from an eBay vendor. Made when lenses were solid, mechanical works of art, the lens focusing mechanism is silky smooth. No cheap plastics here. The lens weighs 2 1/2 pounds (1150g), with a length of 7.88" (200mm) and a diameter of 3.15" (80mm)! Note the built-in, sliding lens hood.
