Bald Eagle Gallery

The Bald Eagle, also known as the American Eagle, is a bird of prey originating in North America and the national bird of the United States. Bald Eagles are estimated to have a population of 100,000 world wide. The state with the largest resident population is Alaska with approximately 50,000. Requires four or five years to reach full adult plumage. Known to nest in tall trees or on cliffs.
