Lauren Buchholz has been a dedicated nature lover throughout her entire life. Originally from the Bay Area of California, she has lived in numerous locations on the East and West coast, and has traveled to many of the 50 states. An avid nature photographer since 2005, Lauren works with a Nikon D-40x to capture images of the great outdoors wherever her travels may take her. To further her pursuit of professional photography, Lauren founded Natural Visions in early 2009.
Lauren has a Bachelor of Arts in environmental writing from the University of Colorado at Boulder. A dedicated writer as well as photographer, she has written about and been published on numerous environmental issues and in 2009 became the very first Colorado Student Correspondent for the Mother Nature Network. Lauren currently works for Parks and Wildlife in southwestern Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and otherwise exploring the great outdoors.
