I live in northern Wi. about 15 west of Crivitz. Last Saturday a new bird appeared in my yard and after much research I have concluded that it is a Varied Thrush. All by himself. Typically feeds of the ground. Only saw him at the feeder twice. The blue jays don't seem to bother him. Beautiful bird. Hope he sticks arouund.
