James
Congratulations on your selection to the Florida Arts Hall of Fame.
I ran across a reference and checked it out.
You probably won't remember me as I was about 2 year behind you at Stuart High School. If I remember correctly, you had a Crosley car. I played basketball for Coach Mc Coy

Hello Gary. I am afraid you have the wrong James.

Hello James. My name is Gary Allen. My father; Bill became your friend on a voyage from Florida to Southampton,England in Aug.1974.
You drew him a picture of a Seminole warrior as a thank you to my Dad because he bought you 'My first pint of firewater'.
I became friends with your son; Kevin. We were both 10 & he taught me how to draw, for that week at least.
I wonder if you remember my Dad?
It would be great to hear from you.
Sincerely, Gary.

Thanks for dropping by and I'm glad you found something you liked. I agree with you, there are photo ops everywhere.

I enjoyed your images in the "challenge" category. They reenforce the concept that there are many good images nearby; one doesn't have to travel far to "famous" places. (But it does help to have snow.)

Thanks for allowing me to enjoy your photos.

I LOVE the white cow! The composition of the photo is fantastic and what an expression! How do you like that digital Rebel?

Thanks John, I appreciate your comments. By the way I enjoyed your animation in the PSP forum (subject:test).

Simply grand, I didn't expect such a high quality of work. Don't know why, maybe reflections of my fears. Anyways, thank you for sharing! The self portrait with the camera is my favorite.

Thanks to both Becky and Syb, I am sure you have read by now that I was unaware that I could respond here. Didn't want you to think I was unappreciative of you kind comments.

I just realized that I could respond to these comments in the guestbook, sorry for the delay. Thanks for your comments and I'm sure your prints will do quite well in the marketplace.

I'm impressed, James. It's nice to flesh out some of the people posting on the PSP forums.

Soon, I'll add one more short track to WildlandScenes from the Lassen Peak area, and then
I need to get busy and put a shopping cart on the site. I'm going to "sell out" and try to
generate a few funds to help keep things alive in retirement.

What I've posted are scans from 6x6 cm. slides taken about 35 years ago. (Lake Powell was
just starting to fill when I was there.) They print as large as 2x2 feet very well, and I
hope people will like them enough to want to live with them on their wall.

I have to confess that I have both an anti-Apple and an anti-Adobe bias, so I'm grateful
that PSP is as good as it is.

Thank you for your help in jasc forum, and very very nice pictures I really like the one with the cow, as I am a farm girl myself.

Jimmy,
You're doing great stuff with your eye and your camera. Your pictures are exceptional. They belong in a calendar or postcards or somewhere more people can enjoy them. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for sending me the link to your galleries. I had forgotten just how beautiful Colorado can be in the fall.
