The State Park is just over 50 miles Northeast of Vegas on the I15.
We spent a few hours touring and taking in the breath-taking views.
Make sure you take plenty of water and snacks with you. There are lots of picnic areas, but nowhere to purchase supplies.
Also, take sun screen - it stays mighty hot amongst those red rocks!
