A mini-bus ride away from Cuzco, in what is called the Sacred Valley, the town of Pisac has a Sunday market, so Maya and I went there. The spelling of the town varies - sometimes Pisaq. It is one of the tourist destinations, therefore things are suitably gussied up, prices are probably higher and there are the mandatory people wandering around in costume with lamas and whatnot, posing for photos and asking for a fee. The condition of the town is also improved.
So proud of his lama
Getting fed for the tourists.
A cheek full.
Still chewing
Any more where that came from?
My favourite photo.
