Blind youth busking for a living at the Suthep Gate entrance to the festival. The road around the inside of the moat was blocked off late in the afternoon for about a week and everyone made merry. Around the historic main city square, there are two roads, one inside, going one way, another immediately outside going the other, with a few entries and exits on each side.
