Traditional weaving from northern Thailand (in particular, the former Kingdom of Lanna). The top the weaver is wearing, is also typical of the rectangular pieces joined in a V at the neck, front and back. The panel around the body is often wonderfully ornate weaving or embroidery. The young man looking on is Nam (the name means 'water').
