This figure faces ThaPae Road in front of a delightful, small, wooden temple. I have no idea what type of monster it is, nor what it does, but it reminds me of one up on the hill/mountain overlooking Chiang Mai, at Wat Doi Suthep. That figure had a name plaque in front of it -' Mom', which is why I wonder if this one is of the same kind.
