This spider was quite beautiful. He/she - it had a web stretched out from the post of the porch to the thin twig of a small plant in a planter in front of my mother-in-law's apartment. The threads seemed impossibly long and tenuous. Spider would hide in the geranium flowers or high up on the twig, looking inocuous, rather like a dead leaf all curled up on itself. The landlady cleaned the garden up two days ago, so Spider is no longer hanging there.
