This figure, seeming like a wind sprite, is wood, part of the overall splendour of the carving in this place. Yet, s/he(?) is carrying a dusty bunch of plastic flowers. Odd. The two, wood and plastic, don't seem to me to go together. It was dark, and she was floating in the breeze as was appropriate. I was pleased to get her image, as I'd been wanting to get up to this pagoda, even though only at the end of the street, for a long time. This was my last chance, as we left Da Nang just over two weeks later.
