This morning I found this older photo of my favorite old stallion when he was still very active and at the top of the ranking among the males. As you can see he has many wounds on his white body that show in red.

This is the most recent image of this horse that I could find before he faded into the background as an outcast and lonesome figure on the outskirts of the desert. He is still there and will often interact with the younger bachelor stallions, but can not muster the strength to go up against the now dominant males.
