The glacial carved cirque just below 11,750 foot Mount Timpanogos in late September. This mountain peak is the most popular in Utah and thousands hike to the summit every summer.
This image was taken yesterday (September 21) and you can still see remnants of snow and green vegetation left from record snowfall this last winter and spring. Normally, this view would show all yellow and red foliage with the coming of winter. But, last winters snow has only recently left the meadow.
