One of my favorite stallions was totally beaten last summer, losing all of his mares and chased away from the others by the stallions that had defeated him. He roamed as a single banished stallion for over 12 months. He regained his strength and fighting prowess, and is now on the warpath again. He has won a mare in the last few weeks and certainly will fight for more. At one time, he had up to eight mares in his band.

He is a powerful paint horse that I call Geronimo.
