A show of power.

A face-off of two evenly matched stallions will usally end without a full-contact brawl. Here, Goldie displays a warning to Frosty to stay away. Frosty then responded with his own display. They then came very close and with arched necks and muzzles low to the ground, they sniffed each other, snorted and squealed a bit before they shook their heads and both turned back to their herd of mares.

Two beautiful powerful horses, the sun light shows their muscles, nice background with the horses also.

This is superb! So dramatic. Once again you get my vote for best equine photographer. V

Looks like you're still making the trip to the desert. I have seen horses up here do the same thing. That's bright light and I always cuss the bright lighting up here. Good work as always. Brent
