Last Friday (May 15th, 2009) My cousin Don Beavon, as well as friends James Hamaker and Art Freeman, skied the Birthday Tour Circuit in Washington's North Cascades with me. We made a "side trip" to the summit of Copper Point to take in the view and ski it's ridge and face. The tour consisted of three distinct climbs and descents in a loop. The weather was magnificent; the company was fantastic. I'd be game to do this one again any time! What a great day.
I'd like to say thanks to Don, James and Art for such a fun day, and for being patient with all the photography!
