this image seems to have a story behind it... everything from the man's serious expression to the empty table apart from the one tray of fresh loaves provides food for the imagination.

Thanks Adrianox. Timeless, yes- but I took this just a few months ago. Great little Panadaria (bakery) in a Mexican town in the foothills of the Sierra Madre. The earthen oven was clearly hand built, hand wood fired and looked well over 100 years old (see in the other submitted photo). The only thing that bothers me about this photo is that I think I should re-crop it so that the man is a little more to the left... but then I lose the 'line' of the old wooden table. Oh well, it's just for fun.

g'day morey - i think u have captured a timeless image here - and b&w is the best medium in this case. i love everything about it... it does speak to me. namaste /\ adrian
