I like your set very much. You pointed a very sad problem in the society of today: the homeless people. I like this shot very much, very strong image but also very sad.

To Niamh: This and all other two pictures were taken with good ol' Nikon F3, film camera (you can see film quality in these images -- something sweet that I miss in digital photography today), with Fujifilm Velvia and some Tamron lenses -- MF 70-210mm I think. It was quite a while years ago ...
I had a chance to scan these images, but still have about 2000 of negatives i *really* need to preserve and scan them asap! Thanks for your nice comments guys.

i think that for me what makes this image that bit different is the total lack of eye contact and lack of interaction between the subject and the camera. a strong image and not a comfortable one. I'd like to know what camera/lens this was shot with. :)

Good one TP. I might have considered a different composition to take the man's head away from the centre of the frame, but I like the elements you have going on here, including the flowers behind the guy. Perhaps some more space to the left of the frame would provide more balance, but would have to experiment to see what looks best. Cheers, John
