Full or empty: The photo, in fact, was totally unplanned, a snapshot of a kind, perhaps taking a photo for having an excuse for delaying the morning's work for another minute, perhaps capturing the half-full, half-empty feeling that goes with so many mornings in everyday life. A full cup wouldn't have done it, for me, that is.

A full cup would have been nice...still the color is rich, with the cool on warm tones, and the lines work well in the composition.

Yes, decent composition and nice froth, but I would have preferred a full cup.

Well-balanced framing - I like the way the basic pattern of the cup and saucer are mimiced by the knot in the pine. Good sense of texture with the froth - in fact, I'd love a sip!
