On June 20th I met up with fellow PBaser Naomi Schaffer, from Winchester, VA., for a day of shooting. She invited me to the Arboretum at Blandy Farm near Winchester, Virginia. We also made a quick trip over to the Long Branch Mansion which is used to serve as a center for cultural activities in the area of Long Branch, Virginia. I have just browsed your photographs for the first time! They are LOVELY!!!. I have just spent 6 weeks in India and wished every day that I had your talent. I came home with 1,000 shots, but none that I was totally satisfied with.

Monte, it was such a pleasure to meet you and I really enjoyed the outing. You captured some very nice photos here, and I hope you will return to the Shenandoah Valley and Blandy Farm again very soon.
