Noise Comparison at ISO 1600 between my Nikon D2h (after a meter repair) and my 1DMkII. This is as close a comparison as I can get. The Canon was shot at M2 (4MP) file size. I used a 100mm F2 at F2 on the Canon, 130mm after crop factor applied. An 85mm 1.8 also at F2 was used on the Nikon. 127.5mm after crop factor applied. All shot were in manual mode with the exact same shutter speed. WB was also the same.
