These photos have been processed by Photoshop. I got the idea at this web site.
However, I did not use the exact process described there. Here's my workflow for each image:
1. Open the photo in Photoshop (I use CS3 but it will probably work in other versions of Photoshop).
2. Go to Image > Apply Image and choose Screen blend mode at 100% opacity.
3. Duplicate the layer (Ctrl-J).
4. With the top layer still active, change the Blend Mode to Multiply.
5. Blur the top layer. I used Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur set to about 10 pixels for images of this size. Experiment with the amount of blur to suit your taste.
