We didn't get hit by Hurricane Frances anywhere near what Florida did, and it was only a tropical depression by the time it got to us in western North Carrolina. However, we did get 8 inches of rain which caused some flooding.

We took a short trip down Jeffress Rd in Mills River and took a few photos. The water you see in these photos is all flood waters from the French Broad River, not the river itself which we couldn't get anywhere near.

The batteries in my camera died after the first photo, and my spares were dead too, so I took the remainder using Norma's camera.
