My Photoshop Tutorials 2

Tom Hicks posted a snake photo for users of http://FredMiranda.com to post process.
Here is one of the ways I would post process it.
This is for those who follow "MrChevy Show & Tell" posts.

Ah, me too, don't think I have opened the manual that came with PS yet (for any of the versions). (Ooops, I have opened the CS2 manual AND the Photoshop CS2 book by Scott Kelby that came with the CS2 upgrade, my bad! I may learn something :) ) Many others will back me up when I say "DO NOT BE AFRAID TO EXPERIMENT" with ALL of the different tools in PS (or whatever program you are using to post process your files)... or how else would I (and you) learn what they (the tools) do ?

ALWAYS work on a copy... that way, when you "mess" up, just delete the copy and start with a fresh copy.

The following took an hour or so to make (the MrChevy Show & Tell) but the results, from the first RIGHT CLICK on Tom's photo till Save for Web takes under 1 minute. It may take you 5 or 10 minutes as you learn how to do things/use the tools. That is Ok, take your time, play with the Curves "line", grab it and move different parts of it up or down, to the left or to the right and watch what happens to the photo and its colors.
