Into the night

Sunset -
The dunes are deserted,
One by one birds find their rest,
Only the waves whisper through the night.
The world grows quiet.

Pink, red,
Brilliant blue, until
The stars sprinkle the sky
Inviting the wary traveler
Into the infinite.
The mind expands into the vastness
Of the Universe.
Probing,
Searching,
And finally knowing
The truth.
