Planned since the Venice trip with the there-wedded couple, this Hangzhou Huangshan expedition brought 3 of my good friends with me to my home base of Hangzhou then a 3 day interlude into the fat man's hell that is Huangshan. After which we also visited 2 small towns near Hangzhou called Wuzhen and Longmen, both of which I've been to quite a few times before. It was exciting to show to my friends views of non-metropolitan China they've never seen before, myself included in the case of Huangshan. The weather was great to us during the Huangshan leg, with the sun coming up when needed , and we got 1 night of good clear skies for astro-photography, something I'm just starting to learn about via Ben Canales's tutorials.
