As a free-lance photographer, I focus mainly on birds, marine mammals and scenery - but other aspects of Life on our Planet are captured as well.
My work and interests carry me to many corners of the World, more often than not to the Polar regions. This site will mirror that, as I add more and more photographs of a greater and greater range of species to the wildlife sections, and also add more and more locations to the sections depicting the sceneries and landscapes of our World. The third main category of photographs contains more thematic images, circling around the more dramatic or if you will poetic sides of Nature.
Better late than never: I began the process of constructing this site in 2007. Thus, it will take time before you can see a decently representative selection of my work here. Reason to return regularly to the site - there will be more added for a long time to come.
I have had a growing number of photographs published in magazines, fieldguides, educational books, etc. In 2007, my Polar Bear photo essay won an international National Geographic competition, and I was (again) a finalist in the TPOTY Tavel Photographer of the Year competition. In 2008, I had a large volume of images in the newst "Marine Mammals of the World".
