There is a draft conservation plan for Bald Eagles in New York State coming up the deadline for comments is April 10th, 2015. You can get a copy of the plan here..... Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF copies of the Draft Conservation Plan for Bald Eagles in New York State may be downloaded directly from ftp://ftp.dec.state.ny.us/dfwmr/wildlife/baea/. If passed this will be very instrumental in protecting the American Bald Eagles in our State from encroachment and loss of habitat. I urge every New York State resident to contact the D.E.C. and their State representatives and getting this bill passed.
