Most of the examples I had seen earlier of this type of formation were on the Duck Valley Indian Reservation, so I didn't feel I could stop to photograph them, even though some were even nicer than this. I was fascinated by the appearance of loose aggregation, yet patently the rocks were held together somehow. Another mystery!
