"American Falls" is at once a present-day town, a former town, a power dam, and a reservoir on the Snake River that inundated the former town. My trips there have touched the reservoir at many points and have mostly been for birdwatching, so the optics I've had with me have mostly NOT been the photographic sort. I've begun to make up for that in recent years.
