Hi everyone.
Apologies for my lack of comments these past few days ~ 'Holy Week' is an especially busy one for us 'pastor types'!
However, I hope to catch up with them soon and look forward to visiting your galleries again.
Best regards,
Chris
P.S. Here's a brief extract from tomorrow morning's talkÉ
IÕd like to suggest that the empty tomb of Jesus, the dramatic change in the disciples of Jesus, and the enduring impact of the Church of Jesus, are all prima facie evidence that His birth, death and resurrection are no fantasy tale!
The risen Christ was seen alive by 100Õs of people over the course of seven weeks. The disciples went into hiding after His burial, but having seen the Lord alive again, went on to take the news to the furthest corners of the ancient world. And here we are, the best part of 2000 years later, and the Church is larger, and stronger, and more active than itÕs ever been before!
The ÔevidenceÕ. One empty tomb; ten martyred apostles; close-on 1 billion believers! ThereÕs a wealth of evidence for His birth, His work, His words, His death, and His predicted return to life. So why not seek His ÔhelpÕ? Grasp this golden ÔopportunityÕ? And claim His resurrection ÔpromiseÕ? For the evidence suggests that it all adds up to ÔhopeÕ!
