Easter blessings!

A303, Somerset & Tudela, Spain

Faith is more than a job to me. It's who I am, first and foremost.
I'm a 'believer' and that hopefully shapes everything else I do ~ including taking photos!
So once or twice a year I put up an image that reflects that fundamental part of me.
And what better time to do it than 'Easter'?
So 'Happy Easter', dear Pbase friends.
Whatever your faith, (and we all have one), may the coming weekend present you with
an opportunity to be still for a moment and reflect on the sheer blessing of being alive!

Nikon D7000 ,Nikkor AF-S DX 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR
This is a combination of two images.
The major (background) shot was taken as we set off on a missions trip to Ukraine, back in June 2009.
The statue was taken in Tudela, Spain, in May 2012.
The two were brought together in Photoshop, using decreased opacity, 'darken' blend mode' and a little masking together with a touch of lens flare.
Next the text was added and, finally, the hint of a frame. full exif
