Hanoi is a beautiful city, and I found it very hard to move on from there. The city is full of street side cafes, wide tree lined boulevards, and fascinating French influenced architecture. Spent days wandering the various districts of the city, dodging motorbikes, eating and drinking fantastic food, and soaking up the atmosphere. A country very much "on the move", and the people are just so charming and interesting. We also travelled down to Hoi An by train, and back up through Hue by bus and plane. Returning to Hanoi, we visited an incredible pilgrimage site a few hours outside the city called "Perfume Pagoda" with a few hundred thousand other folks.
