South America 南美洲

South America is very far away from my country as I am living in Hong Kong. I thought the best way was to fly to Amsterdam (12 hrs) and stay one night and then fly again (14 hrs) to Lima to start my journey. I spent three month planning this trip.
South America is a very unique place. It has it's own historical monuments, the world largest rainforest, the only non-receding glacier in the world and the most dramatic landscape on earth. It was really the most amazing and unforgettable holiday of my life.

Hi there your photos of Sth America are fantastic, Im hoping to go for 3 weeks this year, can you give me tips on best months to travel there and also what best places I could get to see in 3 weeks. Deffo want to see Machu Picchu, Glaciers and Iguazu Falls. Any advice would be great. Thanks a million xx

Wow, those are great photos. I have been to South America a few times, but I haven't seen that much wildlife. Where did you see the puma and the parrot licks? I have my next trip scheduled to South America for August 2007 (Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana), but I may try to plan a South American wildlife trip for 2008. Thanks, Michael

Monica--Thank you for sharing your photos. They are quite wonderful and as others have said, it reminds me my trips to South America. How ever did you find all those frogs--I searched in vain to find some of the smaller trees frogs. I do think Machu Picchu and Iguazu Falls were some of the most amazing places I have seen. Now I want to go back!

Next month I plan to spend three weeks in South America. I will visit Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru. After viewing your wonderful photographs, I know I did not make a mistake and I can hardly wait.
