The Incas built the huge fortress and religious site of Sacsayhuaman on a hill above Cuzco. When the Incas built Sacsayhuaman, they shaped massive rocks with great precision. The massive blocks, the largest being 8.5m high and weighing nearly 300 tonnes, are fitted together with absolute perfection.
