I wish I could help you with this. I really can't remember how he did it but I can give you a web address to the most helpful bunch of tile guys on the internet :) When we did this back in 02, it was not a popular thing to try. The tile guys are coming around and I'm hearing more and more installers doing it. Do know tho that if you have to replace your sink, it's not coming out without taking some tile with it :o I SO wanted a single bowl sink when we remodeled but listened to my mother and husband and didn't do it :( I still regret not getting the single bowl. I've asked DH several times if there is anyway he can remove this one. He says theres no way to not damage the tiles around it.
Good luck!

Your kitchen is truely fabulous and thank you so much for the extensive web site. This is the only examples I have found and it is amazing the similarities in products you have chosen. I would love to see your replies to everyone else's questions. How did you get the bullnose edge on the tile? How did you accomplish the undermounting sink and has it caused any problems since the install? It looks like porceline is that correct? And the last is about the weird angle on the faucet. I have been looking to buy this one and it is terribly expensive to have an odd angle like that. If you could reply, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
