The Sawtooth Complex Fire

Originally the Ridge Fire that was started from a lightening strike on the north side of Yucca Valley.
This new fire " The Sawtooth Complex Fire" is the result of a wind shift that caught a hot spot from the Ridge Fire about Noon on Tuesday the 11th! wind driven this new blaze took off with amazing speed and hit Pioneertown hard . At the last report it has burned over 53.000 acres and 150 structures and is now merging with the Millard Fire .

Very interesting gallerie.....If not a bit scary once something like this gets hold it must be so hard to get it under control (hope it is now ) Some great shots though!!.
