This view show the bridge and down town Milton. I worked evenings, as a photographer, for eleven months at the town's newspaper covering ball games, car wrecks, and town meetings. Made $1.00 per hour and got in about thirty hours each week. This was enough for a good evening meal and a car payment to GMAC. Two place had Key Lime pie, .........loved that pie.
The weekly paper was the Press Gazette, and it was owned by Tom Leonard and his family. Great guy. He co-signed a loan for me so that I could buy my first car, a 1956 pontiac.
