The US Forces license plate on the car at right appears to be white numbers on reddish background, placing it between 1962 and 1965 (silver on green plates began in 1966).

i was 8 or nine when we stayed there in '66 or '67. the cog car up was broken, so opportunity was lost forever. lol, i ate oatmeal for every breakfast...can't find it on googlemaps, but i found our old apt on heerstrasse in wiesbaden. a long time ago, but i remeber it well, as it was a fun and beautiful place to grow up.
