The US National Whitewater Center is situated along the Catawba river in Charlotte, NC. It is the worlds only multi-channel recirculating whitewater river, and has been designated an official training site by the USOC. It will also host World Cup competitions, Olypic trials, and is the new home of USACK as well as international athletes. The 300 acre facility also has mountain biking/running trails, climbing center, challenge course, and canoe/kayak and rafting channels for all abilities. All are open to the public.
