Mt. Moriah Backcountry Snowboard

John Aprea III and Geoff Trott climbed Mt. Mariah in the Whites with their boards on a cold and cloudy day.
There was about 5" of fresh power at the base and more as thry climbed. They reached a beautiful conifer glade
close to the top and decided that there was no need to summit! The powder was like Utah Champagne...
a real nice start to the winter season.
