The 2nd progressive hike was rescheduled to Sunday based of
forecasted colder weather on Saturday. We had a nice hike at Camden
Hills State Park. We headed up to the Ocean Lookout for a great view
of Camden and the islands. It was quite windy and colder up
there. We stopped for lunch at Adam's Lookout where we were more
sheltered from the wind but still had great views. Snowshoes were
carried but never used and extra clothes were shed on the way
up. Everyone was eager for more hiking after lunch so near the
bottom we headed back up another trail and the road to Mt.
Battie. We finished about 3:00pm as the clouds were filling the sky.
