Eastern State Penitentiary

These images were taken at the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia. This is the first penitentiary in the US. It operated for 142 years until 1970. It was abandoned for 26 years and reclaimed in 1996. It is now being rehabbed and is an historic site. Very interesting to visit and to photograph.
