Thanks for your comment re the 50 & 85 primes Mark - I have just raided my savings and got both of these and got both in f1.4 but am now worried that I'm not using my zoom so much as I'm so impressed with the primes! I really like the light weight and the fact that they go down to 1.4 when there is not much light.
Thanks for the comment Mark - My new 17-55 certainly seems like a good lens to have. My partner purchased it but was not keen on the weight so I purchased it off her as once I had used it it's diffucult to go back to my kit lens as I like doing indoor photos so f2.8 really helps! I notice you seem to be using the 50 & 85 primes which must really help with yet a further stop of light. I might eventually splash out on a 1.4 prime if I get a real taste for avaliable light shots.

You have really developed a wonderful eye behind the camera. Please keep up the great work!

Mark --
I'm at your Grandmother's house, giving her a "computer lesson" and helping her print some of your photos. She's a lovely woman . . . and so are your photos. Hope to meet you the next time you come to Ocracoke.

Mark:
I aquired some sheet music and also some original stuff signed by you, it is in a container, named Rupert Roden. Can you help me understand this?
