Defeats the whole purpose of having a dry lake. ;-)

And as a desert is defined as a place having a low rainfall, and this is runoff from snow on the mountains, it's still a desert!

I never been there? Where is it located?

Amazing! I have visited the Mohave a few times and it was only dry, parched ground. Amazing to see so much water. Does this bring forth living things, flowers, etc?

It might only be a couple inches deep, but it does look to be a lake. Glad you got to see it in this stage.
