Only 30 minutes by ferry from Nadi, the 2nd largest city in Fiji, is the Mamanuca group of islands (see picture on main page). Beachcomber is but a dot on the map, very small, and home to this resort. Monuriki island is where the movie "Castaway", with Tom Hanks, was filmed. It took us 30 minutes by ferry to get there on a side trip. This is an uninhabited island but very nice to hang out, nonetheless.
