Dear Mr. Lord Murray,
I saw the pictures by Boobook-Owl (brat) in the internet.
I come from Germany.
Since I am interested very much in owls and even which also breeds, may I ask whether you allow me it to use some of these Boobook Owl pictures for me even?
I would be very grateful for it for them.

Best regards
Karl Mayer

Hi Murray, we've corresponded before by e-mail but I somehow managed to lose your e-mails and so couldn't reply to your last e-mail. I'm hoping you are the same Murray Lord! Anyway, just to say, thanks for the sending the photo of the Malaysian Rail-babbler. Would be great iof you could send it again because I've lost it! Sorry!

Dear Murray

Best greetings from Ian Fulton

Super Photos !!

I am a Hobby-Zoologist from Austria and I work on a list of all bird species (only for myself and personal use). I want to add to all the animals in the list a picture, so I want to ask you, if I am allowed, to copy some pictures from your picture gallery by pbase in my lists - only for private use! I will not create a homepage, I will not sell the photos and I will not publish the photos - I only want to add them to my lists.
I am looking forward to a permission to copy some photos,

Yours faithfully

GÜNTER

Dear Murray,

Your photos are just BEAUTIFUL - and I wonder whether we could reproduce your 'Typical roadside scene, Tari' in a book about PNG that will be published by ANU E Press this year? I am a coeditor of the book. I would be most grateful if you would get back to me by email so that I can give further information - and of course, if you approve, we would provide full acknowledgement, cover costs etc.

Thank you for sharing these wonderful photographs,

Vicki

Hello,

My name is Charles Gunn from New Port Beach, California. I knew a Murray Lord when I was younger and was curious as to whether this was you or not? I met Murray and his friend Chris around 1982 in Huntington Beach, California. They lived with myself and my room mate Aaron. If this is you I would love to hear from you and do some catching up. If not I apologize for bothering you.

Thank you,
Charles Gunn (Chuck)

Dear Mr Murray Lord
I am a retired professor of history. I have written an early history of the Indian Ocean with a chapter on Madagascar. I wonder if I can request you to allow me to use a photo from your collection on the market in Antananarivo in the book, and if so, if you will be able to provide a copy of adequate resolution. I will be prepared to cover any costs within my means.
Yours
Abdul Sheriff, Zanzibar Indian Ocean Research Institute

Hello Murray.
Could you please provide me with some comments on Crested Shrike Tits and the taxonomy of them? (what is accepted and why?) And any other knowledge you might be able to share with me on the Western Crested Shrike Tit specifically; need some personal communications for a university assignment on the Western Crested Shrike Tit.
Cheers
Joanne

Magnificent photos. Loved the Scottish ones (have you any of the Lake District UK where I live?) and particularly the Tasmanina Masked Owl (gorgeous). Thank you.

Nice photos, especially the masked owl from Australia. It is magical, and despite being "masked" the whole composition seems to let you in to some exotic world.

You did perfect photos, You make people live in another continent. It's going be well done if you can add some another photos of the endemic birds of Madagascar, that's can be a tool to protect the environement in my country:make the authority have more consciensious of the protection not only the forest but the marshland nera the forest also, or the marshland where is used to be a homeland of these birds.

What a great collection, Murray! You can be justly proud of your skill - you clearly have an eye for composition, style and form, and the perspectives (both physical and mental!) embedded in your pictures are very thought-provoking and striking. Well done, Murray.

Your striking photos just take my breath away. The galleries are compact enough to leave me wanting more at the end of each. I'll be back through and I promise not to make any noise. Thanks for sharing

WOW! I was looking at a friend's photo gallery and stumbled upon your photos. What absolutely beautiful imagery and breathtaking scenery. You've captured the essence of the places you have travelled - they look like they should be blown up and framed. Wicked.
Happy journeys...
