They still remind me of the tripods from war of the worlds film..BV
Bill Miller17-Feb-2014 19:52
They always make me think of War of the Worlds, marching over the countryside.

Great shot of this impressive turbine !! V

A wind turbine in a very unique location. Great capture with a beautiful sky!
Yvonne17-Feb-2014 10:15
Strange placement for a turbine, I agree with your comment Martin! v
Colin Storey17-Feb-2014 09:53
Very well taken, it does look out of place against that building. v
Helen Betts17-Feb-2014 06:39
I love the vivid color and composition. The turbine appear to be emerging from the building! V.

Not the usual place to find a wind turbine.V.

All the Turbines and Wind farms which are scaring our countryside, don't seem to have had much effect of reducing the Climate Change, unless it has changed for the worse. Mmmmm !

Wind turbines really are a blight on the landscape and eye .This one dominates the whole skyline and building.V
bill friedlander17-Feb-2014 00:48
Nicely composed for the graphic features. The blades are enormous! V
Long Bach Nguyen17-Feb-2014 00:41
good shutter speed and exposure
Barry S Moore16-Feb-2014 23:44
Wow , that's a big turbine - especially if a blade breaks off! ~V~
globalgadabout16-Feb-2014 23:29
graphically strong though, and a hint of Mercedes....nothing wrong with expertise...

I kind of like the look of wind turbines, but perhaps if they were in my neighborhood I'd have a different opinion.
