Bristol - St Peters Church

Bristol - St Peters Church

The church has Saxon foundations, with a 12th-century lower tower, the rest of the church being built in the 15th century.
12th-century city wall runs under the west end of the present church.
It was bombed in the Bristol Blitz of 1940 and ruined.

Gently leads the eye to the main subject through the walkway of seasons (late summer on the left, fall on the right), excellent composition of this historic church.
